Jo Thompson Landscape & Garden Design have been commissioned by the Royal Horticultural Society to design a new accessible garden at RHS Rosemoor.
In our new design for this public space, we capitalise on the location’s contours and high annual rainfall. Water flows out of a raised curved viewing platform, and into a series of rivulets. It then disappears below ground and re-emerges in a bog garden at the bottom of the slope, much as it would in a natural landscape. Seating areas, shelter and access paths and ramps have all been designed to sit seamlessly within the location.
Construction began September 2017.
