This town garden is the result of a long and fruitful collaboration between designer and client. A series of curved beds and borders create different rooms within the garden, thus increasing the appearance of the actual width and length of the space.
The garden design was based partly on the client’s wish, as a plantsman, to include a range of specimens and varieties of plants whilst also having a practical area of lawn. Entertaining areas sit at each end of the garden, whilst a kitchen garden and greenhouse nestle behind fruit trees and fruit cages. Climbing plants such as roses, clematis and honeysuckle soften the new boundaries and give privacy from neighbours
