A quick dash out to check on some new trees arriving in a client’s garden, and a chance to see how the mass tulip planting is working out. The new monkey puzzle looked extraordinary, and the bulbs a deliciously peach colour against the pittosporum and stipa behind. It was lovely to see all the pale orange/apricot colours which are going to be in the M&G garden. I don’t think we see enough of this combination in our gardens at home. Back to the desk then, to fill out spreadsheets and talk plants with journalists.
