As I’ve probably written before, these show gardens at RHS Chelsea could not be created without all the different specialists in a huge range of fields. And for plants, as for everything else, we’ve gone to the best. Roger Platts is growing perennials and shrubs, Kelways are growing the peonies, and How Green are growing the annuals. I had some lovely updates from Simon at How Green yesterday: all the pretties, including ammi, daucus carota and gypsophila (but NO anthriscus, I still promise) have sprung into action. Now the nail-biting task of ensuring that they don’t flower too early, but that they are just ready for May 18th. Over to you, Simon….
