I’ve decided which way up the rocks and boulders are going to go, which is fairly crucial but I admit there’s a bit of guesswork involved, as until we see the oak building in situ, we can’t judge precisely what is going to go where. These boulders are HEAVY, so I don’t want to annoy Scott too much with ‘left a bit, right a bit’, but we kind of know that that’s a possibility. He’s still smiling. But which way up is vital, as the tops of the seating stones are being polished so that the layers of time will be visible on the surface. We are not doing anything else to them: Nature has done a wonderful job in shaping them in just the way she liked.
