Outdoor kitchen design in London. Photography by Donec Eget
The client requested a barbecue as a focal point for an outdoor entertaining area to be used by all the family. Jo Thompson Landscape & Garden Design created a cantilevered barbecue with a granite work surface and lighting gantry, accessible from the York stone dining terrace. Artificial grass was selected to cope with the shade of a large plane tree in this Knightsbridge garden. Staggered hedges at the end of the garden conceal a folding table tennis table, which is accessed via a stone ramp.
Bespoke planters and artificial plants by Capital Garden Products were commissioned for balconies at the front of the house and also for a rear roof terrace.
