Gabi Harkness
Gabi is a chartered landscape architect who transitioned to work in the world of garden design 6 years ago to further her knowledge and interest in plants. Her diverse project experience has fuelled her interest in landscape psychology and how people connect to landscapes of all sizes and typologies, from large to small, urban to wild. Gabi enjoys observing plants growing in their native environments. Mediterranean planting palettes have a childhood nostalgia for her but having recently returned from living in Switzerland, she has a new found fondness for the ephemeral wildflower meadows of the alps. Aside from plants Gabi finds inspiration and creative freedom in fabrics, architecture and cycling.
