Collaborators

The connection between art and gardens is well-established, gardens and plants have long held a fascination for artists as a point of reference. Collaborations too between garden designers and architects is a long-established practice. The great gardener Gertrude Jekyll had trained as a painter before working with architect Edwin Lutyens and her gardens were known for their painterly approach to planting and drifts of colour which perfectly complemented his skill in designing garden layouts, landscaping and stone structures. Their greatest surviving commission today is the Formal Garden at Hestercombe Gardens near Taunton.

Whether a sculptural piece placed within a private garden, or collaborating on new builds, restorations and renovations, we have been privileged to have collaborated with some of the world’s leading artists and architects.
