Jo Thompson to partner with Water Lane to further develop the garden for the 21st Century

We are very excited to announce that we will be working with the team at Water Lane and we can’t wait to get started.

‘This is a chance to re-imagine Water Lane the ‘place’, respecting its past glory as well as making it a sustainable, inspirational, and welcoming garden for the 21st century, and beyond. Our plans include a rose ‘orchard’ with bulb meadow; a quince tree avenue through the green gates of the pedestrian entrance; perennial and stock beds in the south quadrant; follies and wall borders, a fruit cage pergola; children’s natural play; a forest garden and sculpture trail, nuttery and educational spaces. The phased approach to the project means that visitors will see the garden and surrounding grounds evolve over the coming years.’
