Jo will be in conversation with her Rhubarb, Rhubarb co-author Mary Jane Paterson on 26 November at Water Lane. Spend the morning hearing about the surprise literary hit of ‘lockdown’, which tells the tale of the witty and wide-ranging correspondence between Leiths-trained cook Mary Jane Paterson and award-winning garden designer Jo Thompson.
They’ll share the story of their friendship, how the book came about and delve into pages of their advice, hints and tips. During the morning they’ll also be sharing ideas on gardening in the dark days of winter, whilst cooking up a storm in the coming festive season.
Tickets are £10 and include a welcome drink and cookie.
