The Gingerbread City Exhibition: London (3rd December – 2nd January 2023)

The Museum of Architecture’s hugely popular, brilliantly festive and mouthwateringly edible The Gingerbread City® exhibition returns to London from 3 December opening on Motcomb Street, Belgravia, this year’s exhibition presents not just one edible city but five miniature cities across five different climate zones: Polar, Continental, Temperate, Dry and Tropical.

Now in its sixth year, The Gingerbread City® champions sustainable design ideas and puts an exciting twist on the traditional gingerbread house. Over 100 leading architects, landscape architects, engineers and designers will use their building expertise and baking genius to create a gingerbread-based urban landscape that suggests a new ‘normal’ in our post- Covid world where life is less stressful, more convenient and sustainable – where goods and services are easy to get, where there is access to green space and there is choice of afford- able, adaptable housing – wherever you are in the world.
